CCSVI Treatment & Screening

I know this is very important to many and the accuracy of the information is essential. I have been adding & removing information on request. I will do my best to maintain this page but as a one man show, this task has become increasingly difficult. Patient's are frantically scouring the internet for access to treatment. CCSVi & MS volunteers are trying to gather information but ultimately this comes from the source, the clinics and hospitals involved in CCSVI treatment.

Where Else Can CCSVI Checks Be Carried Out?

  • Australia - Dr. Paolo Zamboni, Dr. Robert Zivadinov,Dr. Andrew Common, Dr. Aaron Miller, - The Australasian College of Phleboloogy is conducting a coordinated study of Prof Zamboni's work and he has accepted an invitation to attend annual neeting next March in Melbourne. Contact:

    In Melbourne - enquiries@victoriaveinclinic.com.au - All require referral from the treating doctor with a request for a Cerebrovascular Ultrasound Scan and I believe all groups will charge the Medicare rebate fee although this would need to be confirmed. All patient data will be pooled to establish normal and abnormal parameters. Experience from any group in Australia is so far early and limited.
